Roger founded the Digital Insurance Agenda (DIA) together with Reggy de Feniks, also the co-author of ‘Reinventing Financial Services’ and ‘Reinventing Customer Engagement’.

DIA is the largest conference dedicated to connecting insurance executives with insurtech leaders, to accelerate innovation in the insurance industry.
The first edition of DIA took place in Barcelona in April 2016 and immediately sold out making DIA not only the first, but also “the must see” event on insurtech and innovation in insurance worldwide.
More than 850 attendees representing 40 countries from all 6 continents joined the second edition, DIA Amsterdam, in May 2017, confirming this leadership position.

Through his involvement in DIA, Roger has an excellent view of what’s going on in the fintech and insurtech space worldwide, and how specific innovative solutions match the challenges of insurance carriers.
Roger is listed on InsurtechNews’ Global Top ’50 Insurtech Influencers’. 
He is often asked to match fintech and insurtech solutions with the challenges an incumbent is facing, or to offer guidance in working together with fintechs and insurtechs.
